  1. Thanks, Carolyn, for a little Pre-RWA humor! Let's take a picture of you at RWA to show the difference! Alas, most of don't own an Italian Villa (Kathryn Falk from RT does but that's a funny story for another day).

    See you in Orlando!

  2. LOL! But I have to confess I haven't actually packed for RWA yet. All the stuff is just in a big pile on the floor at the moment. And now I need to find out how to change the "villa in Tuscany" column from N to Y...

  3. Kim: Kathryn Falk owns an Italian Villa? I had no idea. I wonder if she'd like to be my BFF.

Amanda: It's a short line between "big pile on the floor" and "I'm all packed!"

  4. This cucumber thing has got to be explained.....

We definitely need a Riskies photo from the conference!

Don't forget, readers, that we plan to gather at the Continental Breakfast at RWA on Friday 730 to 830 so look for us!!! (I wish we had a balloon or something to show where we are)

  5. I agree about the cucumber thing, O Divine One. Details, ladies, details! This group IS known for their research acumen!

Hey, your pile on the floor is better than my stack at the dry cleaners and stack to be washed.

And we won't mention the suitcase full of shoes.

  6. Aloha, Riskies! I look forward to joining you for Continental Breakfast - I'll be wearing an Aloha shirt. And I'll tell the story of how Kathryn came to own an Italian villa with another NYT best selling author!

  7. wish I was going to be at the Literacy Signing in Orlando. I planned a trip to Nashville before the flood made it necessary to change venues. Now I'll be sitting in Nashville thinking of Orlando.
Hope you have a great time.
