Happy Friday!
It's currently approaching 60 degrees here in New York City, and that means everyone, myself included, is giddy. GIDDY, I tell you!
I've been unable to do much (okay, any) of my own fiction writing because I've taken on the job of Community Manager, Romance, for a new site, Heroes and Heartbreakers.
[In thinking about my post today, I guess it could be called Shameless Self-Promotion, only this isn't about me. It's not. Really.]
It's super-cool, and I am having a blast. If you pop by, you'll see posts from our own Laurel McKee and Carolyn Jewel, with posts from Diane Gaston happening in the future (Janet and Elena will be on-board, too, they just don't know it yet).
But I have made a vow--and an Excel file with my friend Myretta Robens--to write my own stuff next week, so I'll be doing that or facing my own and Myretta's shaming words.
This weekend I'll be watching a mooseload of Asian films so I can be inspired to return to my Asian heritage demonic hero of my Urban Fantasy. I would say it's research, but we all know better. Plus, my husband is out of town.

I am enjoying the weather. And Megan isn't the only one to be facing shame if she doesn't get writing. We both need this little push.

Oh yes - enjoying our mid 70's today!
The blog is so much fun!! I have to visit twice a day to make sure I don't miss anything...
And it is supposed to be 70 degrees here today. I wish it would just stay spring now, no more winter!
'Heroes and Heartbreakers' sounds exactly my kind of blog. It will be classed as research and I'll visit a lot. I LOVE heroes and am always adding to my collection of hero pictures. Mr Darcy is No 1 of course, but always willing to consider others.......

I just checked out the blog--it looks fantastic!
We got up to about 55 here, which feels balmy to us. Though I won't be upset when it goes back down--please don't shoot me for saying this!--since I hope to hit the slopes over the holiday weekend. :)
Seventy degrees here and a really gorgeous day! Best part, it was my day off so I got to enjoy it!

And I need to get back on my writing with a vengeance the next couple of weeks to get these revisions done!
$0 degrees and pouring rain here. But I like this kind of weather.

Enjoyed the weather while it was good. It allowed me to get from TN to Northern NY to visit my Dad who is in the hospital. Now It is cold and I am remembering what I didn't like about the winters hers : ) I will have to keep an eye on the weather so I can pick a safe day to drive back south the end of the week.
